Our Emphasis is to promote emotional support, physical health and spiritual growth for family caregivers. In addition, we work to bridge the gap between the family caregiver on one hand and the professional caregiving community on the other. We define the professional caregiving community broadly to develop the broadest reach and to help the entire community reduce the amount of stress and tension felt and experienced by family caregivers. We do this through a variety of programs and resources for: FAMILY CAREGIVERS: Workshops and seminars, publications, mentoring, meetings with Service Clubs, religious organizations and other civic groups.CAREGIVER CHALLENGES, a program of ADVANCE-ALLIED FOUNDATION, a 501c3 charity, provides education and support for family caregivers by raising awareness of, and respect for, these unpaid caregivers and integrating them into the overall healthcare system. ADVANCE-ALLIED FOUNDATION, established in the 1950's by Allen L. Rosenberg, the founding President of Phoenix Children's Hospital and the founding President of Ballet Arizona, was instrumental in establishing and developing both of those local institutions.
